A TikTok Shop seller in Monterrey or São Paulo doing 50 orders a day is operating a small business without the back-office infrastructure of an Amazon or Mercado Libre seller. They don’t have a VA in the Philippines handling disputes. They don’t have a Zendesk subscription. They have a phone, a supplier, and a content creator, and every dispute that slips past 24 hours is a direct hit to margin.
