Three forces are converging on Mexico’s independent mechanics right now:

3. The opportunity
Mexico has 261,806 registered auto repair shops (DENUE 2025). Across LATAM, there are 839,000 shops, 81% of which are independent. These aren’t franchise dealerships — they’re 1–3 person operations with a WhatsApp number on a cardboard sign.
