Equine veterinary medicine is in a structural staffing crisis. 3. The opportunity

Equine ambulatory practice has terrible PMS UX because every existing solution is either (a) a small-animal PMS with an “equine module” bolted on (Avimark, ezyVet, DaySmart, CoVet), (b) a multi-vet hospital ERP (ImproMed Infinity, HVMS, VIA), or (c) a pre-AI legacy system built specifically for solo ambulatory vets (ThoroVet since 2014, Cassadol). The two AI-native equine specialists — StableTrack and CoVet equine — are both racing to ship the “AI scribe + offline + ambulatory” combination right now.

The gap StallScribe exploits is the bundle: solo ambulatory equine vets don’t just want a SOAP-note generator.
