3. The opportunity
The incumbents own the wrong half of the problem. Trupanion solved direct-pay for the ~4% of pets that are insured. Financing lenders (CareCredit, Scratchpay, Cherry, Sunbit) own the capital — they hand the clinic a sign-up link and a brochure.
