3. The opportunity

The funded incumbents sell a hardware + capital stack: sensors in the coop, chicks and feed on credit, offtake at harvest. That model needs closed houses and a balance sheet, so it only reaches the industrialized top of the market and can’t touch the open-house tail without eating unit-economics that already forced Pitik into a “revaluation.”

The unglamorous truth is that the daily bottleneck isn’t sensor precision — it’s data logistics. A mid-size integrator running 150 open-house plasma farms already gets the numbers it needs every morning, typed into WhatsApp by the farmer.
