The Philippine tax bureau just turned an ignorable obligation into a public one. The market underneath is enormous and freshly-policed. Philippine e-commerce hit ~PHP 2.1T (USD 37.5B) in 2026, +18% YoY (Cube Asia / Statista). Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop GMV alone reached ~USD 22B in FY25. A huge slice of those sellers never registered because registration “feels complicated and keeps getting pushed back” (Korp.ph). 3. The opportunity

The BIR just created a wave of forced demand and pointed it at a workflow that nobody has made painless.
