Three things landed at once.

Nobody is building the optometry-shaped, single-doctor version.

3. The opportunity
The recall market for optometry is owned by messaging tools that mistake “we sent a text” for “we recovered the patient.” That is the gap.
Here is the structural failure, in the words of practice-management literature: “The patient just left the chair. The front desk is busy with the next check-in. Six months pass. Twelve months pass. Eighteen months pass. The practice ‘forgets’ the patient and the patient drifts to the chain optometrist next door.” Weave and friends paper over this with a reminder cadence — 90/60/30/7 days, then a re-engagement sequence. But the re-engagement sequence is just more texts to the same dead number/inbox. For the 60–70% of lapsed patients who don’t respond to text, there is no next step. Calling them is the next step, and no front desk has time to dial 400 dormant patients.
ReVue is the voice layer that does exactly that. It pulls the overdue and dormant lists out of the EHR, calls them with a natural-sounding agent that knows their last exam date and what they’re due for, handles the back-and-forth (“what nights are you open?”, “do you take VSP?”), and books the slot straight into the schedule. - Rough TAM reasoning: ~29,000 optometrist businesses in the US; independents hold ~55% of the market. Call it 12,000–15,000 independent practices that are real targets. Remove the AI and there is no product — it’s just a call center the practice already can’t afford.
