3. The opportunity
Every 5–20 truck transporter in a Tier-2/3 city employs one underpaid, overworked dispatcher. - Code-switched conversational understanding is doing the work — a Punjab broker might call and switch between Punjabi, Hindi, and English in one sentence. Two years ago this was a research problem. Today Bolna, Sarvam, and Skit handle it in production.
- Driver voice-note transcription turns the actual modality drivers prefer (record-and-send WhatsApp voice notes from a moving truck cabin) into structured load-status updates. No driver app, no typing.

If you yank the AI, the operator has to hire a human and you’ve sold them a Google Sheet. The model collapse here is genuine.
